REVEALED: Here are the identities of the Police officers who shot Lawyer Willie Kimani

Police have finally arrested the  three administration police officers linked to the murder of lawyer Willie Kimani, his client and a taximan.

The three cops including Senior Sergeant Fredrick Leliman, Corporal Stephen Chebulet and a Constable, Silvia Wanjiku are currently  being interrogated over the disappearance of the lawyer, his client Josphat Mwendwa and driver Joseph Muiruri.

Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet came out and said in a statement that there was circumstantial evidence linking the three cops to the murders adding that the behaviour of the suspects was not representative of the values of National Police Service.

“I reject claims there are death squads in police. These are rogue officers just like any society with rogue people. They will face the law,” he said.

Bodies of the abducted persons were retrieved on Friday in Ol Donyo Sabuk River after missing for more than a week.

The murders have immensely been condemned by various quarters especially the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) which has persistently mounted pressure on the IG to bring the culprits to book.
