SHOCKING: KWS officer shoots dead his Boss in a dramatic gun fight

A KWS boss was seriously wounded on Tuesday night after one ranger opened fire on his fellow officers.

Corporal Liban Kune of Mwea National reserve in Embu County is said to have engaged his boss in a bitter confrontation after returning from a drinking spree. He then reached for his gun and shot dead a KWS driver, Constable Joseph Nyaga who was shielding his driver.

His boss identified as Richard Njoroge is said to have attempted to flee when he was also shot in the head. The suspect then loaded his gun and started shooting indiscriminately before disappearing in nearby thickets.

According to fellow officers Kune is said to be a sharpshooter and were it not for his drunkenness, many of them would have been shot. The wife’s suspect is said to have intervened pleading with her husband to surrender, which he did.
