SHOCKING: William Ruto invites Jubilee members for tea and mandazi at his Karen home to tell them this

The Deputy President William Ruto earlier this week invited Members of Parliament in his magnifient Karen home for a breakfast meeting.

Accordint to reports, The deputy president ordered the MPs to pass a report by the Joint Parliamentary Select Committee that bars party hopping or leave Jubilee. William Ruto boldly told the party hopping members to leave the party early or go with the ruling party’s ideologies.

“We are not opposed to party hopping, but what we want is a situation where we can decide to be members of certain political parties based on their ideologies before the parties’ nominations are held,” Ruto said.

According to those who attended the breakfast meeting, those who will vote against the proposed bill could suffer, as the coalition may be forced to issue direct nominations to other candidates in their areas.
Jubilee Mps said that the DP was angered by the fact that they had delayed in passing the report in Parliament.

“No party hopping. We have been ordered to pass the two Bills in their current form without amendments. Going by the DP’s body language, this thing is a live wire. You joke, you get fried,” an MP from Central said.

10 IEBC Officers Allegedly Resign, Here is the Reason why

The officials including Returning officers and members of the electoral body’s secretariat are said to have opted to quit over anxiety in the institution.

More officers have reportedly held talks with government officials planning on their safe exit after they were informed of a proposal to have them vetted, to ascertain whether they were fit to handle the 2017 General Election.

According to IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba, tension within the IEBC was likely to undermine preparations for next year’s elections.

KIDERO KWISHA: Here is how are planning to take over Nairobi politics and send corrupt KIDERO home

Members of the Kikuyu community are secretly planning on how to send Nairobi Governor, Dr Evans Kidero, home not only because he has failed Nairobi residents but also because they want to control the capital city’s politics.

In remarks made on Kameme FM on Tuesday, radio presenter Njogu Wa Njoroge asked the Kikuyu community to register in large numbers in the upcoming voter registration exercise to enable the community ‘reclaim’ the seat that was once theirs.

Njogu even revealed how the community is planning to export voters from Kiambu and Muranga Counties to Nairobi in order to ensure the Governor’s seat is won by one of their own.

He urged Muranga and Kiambu residents who stay in Nairobi to register as voters in Nairobi in order to ‘marshal the necessary force’ to eject Kidero from office in 2017.

Njogu also said members of the Kikuyu community vying for the Nairobi gubernatorial seat in 2017 should agree on one candidate to avoid a repeat of the 2013 scenario where Ferdinand Waititu and Jimnah Mbaru votes were split into two.

“We don’t need such a scenario again,” Njogu said.

RAILA is Alone, see what Magufuli said about attending Odinga's function in Bondo

Thousands of family, friends and supporters of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga gathered at his home in Bondo in a joint memorial for both his late father, Jaramogi Oginga Odinga, and late son, Fidel Odinga.

The ceremony to commemorate the two started on Friday through to Saturday with thousands travelling from far distances to attend the annual event.

Prominent personalities from not only Kenya but across Africa graced Raila Odinga’s event.

However, conspicuously missing at the event was Tanzanian President, John Pombe Magufuli, who had confirmed earlier that he would attend the function considering his close friendship with Raila Odinga.

Magufuli allegedly sent an apology to Raila Odinga at the last minute that he would not attend the function due to pressing State matters of great concern to Tanzanians and Africa.

In a statement to the press, Silas Jokakimba, a close family friend and a political advisor to the former PM, confirmed that Magufuli would not be attending the event due to the ongoing African Union (AU) Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

“Whereas H.E Magufuli recently indicated he would be at Kang’oka Jaramogi as the chief guest at the memorial, pressing confidential engagement at AU Heads of State summit in Addis Ababa could not allow his diary to accommodate a detour to Bondo on the same day,” said Jokakimba.

Joho Urinates on Uhuru's Head, check out what he did despite Uhuru's tussle

The ongoing brawl between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho, which has seen the Government close down businesses that belong to Joho’s family on the pretext that it was facilitating importation of contraband goods in the country, has motivated the latter politically.

According to a section of CORD legislators, Joho is being targeted by Uhuru because of his unwavering support for CORD and his loyalty to former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, which they said was causing Jubilee sleepless nights ahead of 2017 considering his vast influence in the Coastal region.

Some CORD supporters have alleged that closure of Joho’s businesses at the Coast was all because of business rivalry, saying Uhuru was worried and jealous of Joho’s booming business.

But with all the hullaballoo, the Mombasa Governor appears not shaken and bowed by Uhuru’s continued intimidation as he goes about his business as usual as if nothing significant has happened.

In fact, yesterday, Joho led CORD campaigns in Malindi to drum up support for the ODM candidate. He traversed the constituency campaigning for ODM’s Willy Mtengo accompanied by other CORD leaders.

Joho said nothing can put him down or intimidate him, not even Uhuru or Jubilee.
